David C. Jiles, ECpE’s Palmer Endowed Department Chair and Anson Marston Distinguished Professor, has issued a challenge for anyone willing to participate. Dr. Jiles will play chess against up to 20 simultaneous opponents and will donate $20 to the Story County United Way Campaign for every game in which he is defeated. Play will be governed by the FIDE Laws of Chess unless otherwise stated. Bring your own boards and challenge the ECpE Department Head!
Entry fee is 10 dollars per person, all of which will be donated to the Story County United Way.
