Abstract: Time synchronization is an important issue in wireless sensor network. This topic has been extensively investigated over the last decade. This presentation will cover several classical time synchronization schemes. A big picture of the evolution of these schemes will be given. Based on the previous works, we further proposed a new lightweight time synchronization scheme. Compared to the other lightweight schemes, our work does not rely on any pre-constructed structure, which is more suitable for a network with dynamic topology.
