Title: A Human-in-the-loop Approach to Detect Cybersecurity Vulnerabilities

Abstract: Recently, adversaries have started turning their attention to vulnerabilities which are inherent in the algorithms themselves. Algorithmic Complexity Vulnerabilities and Side-Channel Vulnerabilities are two classes of such vulnerabilities. It is important to develop and improve defensive technologies to detect these vulnerabilities in the software. This talk is about the technology we have developed to detect these classes of vulnerabilities. We also present results from our performance on the DARPA Space/Time Analysis for Cybersecurity (STAC) program, which is aimed at the development of new analysis techniques and tools for identifying such vulnerabilities.
