Title: Toward Building a Sustainable Sensor Network

Abstract: Wireless sensor networks often are deployed for long-term monitoring applications. It is always desirable to prolong the sensor network lifetime as much as possible. This talk reviews our efforts, in the past few years, toward building a sustainable sensor network with renewable energy sources and energy replenishment techniques. Selected protocol innovations at various layers will be discussed in detail.
