Join us on Friday, Dec. 17, from 1-3 p.m. for the Iowa State University Electric Power Research Center Professional Ethics Continuing Education Webinar, presented by Dr. Clark Wolf, Professor at Iowa State University

This course on professional ethics is designed to comply with Iowa rules (Chapter 7, section 193 7.5(1)) for biennial license renewal for engineers in professional practice. The course will be presented as a 2 hour live webinar by Dr. Clark Wolf, Professor of Philosophy and Religious Studies, and Director of the Bioethics program at Iowa State University. He will provide a framework of professional ethics conduct relevant to engineering practice. The course will offer an opportunity to discuss these examples.

About the presenter: Dr. Clark Wolf is Director of Bioethics and Professor of Philosophy at Iowa State University, where he teaches ethics, bioethics, sustainable agriculture, philosophy of law, and political philosophy. He has written on topics in bioethics, science communication, environmental ethics and policy, intergenerational justice, political theory, and philosophy of law. He writes a regular column on ethics and biotechnology in for Bioethics in Brief. Recent works include a forthcoming book This Is Political Philosophy, co-written with Alex Tuckness, and papers on intellectual property rights, intergenerational justice and sustainability.

The ISU Electric Power Research Center will provide Certificates for 2 Professional Development Hours to participants who complete the training. Cost is $100.
