Kostas wins the best poster award at MMLS 2019
Kostas (Konstantinos Konstantinidis) won the first prize in the Student Poster contest at the Midwest Machine Learning Symposium (MMLS) 2019. His poster abstract was titled: “Speeding up Distributed Computing through Coding”. Out of the 80 accepted posters, eight were chosen as finalists. Posters were judged based on a 3-minute spotlight talk, abstract, and the discussion at the poster session. The award comes with a $1000 cash prize. Congratulations!
