Title: EPRC Ethics Seminar
Abstract: A research ethics workshop cannot turn aside researchers who are determined to pursue a life of research crime. So what good can it do? In this seminar, I begin by discussing why those of us who do not plan to pursue a career in crime should still be interested in research ethics. I will present different standards of behavior that apply to researchers, will discuss the nature of ethical decision-making, and will end by noting environmental and personal factors that put even well-meaning researchers at risk.
