PROXIMITY LOCKS
To gain access to a proximity lock door, slowly pass your KEYCARD once or twice in front of the card reader next to the door. When the light on the reader changes from RED to GREEN, you will be able to open the door.
SWIPE LOCKS
To gain access to a swipe lock, slowly swipe your ISU ID through the reader on the door. When the GREEN light comes on, you will be able to open the door
Note: To ensure that the system is as effective as possible, do not prop doors open. Exterior doors that remain open/propped will initiate an alarm with the ISU Police.
