Title: Microorganism imaging and analysis
Abstract: In this presentation I will focus on the development of a microfluidic system to assess the chemotaxis of plant parasitic nematodes as well as custom software solutions to assess microorganism viability. The microfluidic chip was developed using soft lithography techniques and designed for long-term imaging and chemotaxis measurements of plant parasitic nematodes. The images are then compressed into a video format and analyzed with custom software to extract relevant information and present it to the user in an intuitive manner.
