Title: The threats of PAAST (Power, Area, Architecture, and Signature Transparent) hardware Trojans in analog circuits

Abstract: Most researches on hardware Trojans  focus on digital hardware Trojans, while little concern is on analog hardware Trojans. However, Trojans can also be easily inserted into analog circuits and have catastrophic problems. Even some analog hardware Trojans could be detected by existing methods for digital Trojans, there is no known effective method to detect an entirely different class of hardware Trojans that require no additional circuitry, no increase in power, no increase in area, no changes in architecture and that leave no signatures in either power or timing buses prior to triggering. Benchmarks of analog circuits with hardware Trojans are built, and a useful method to detect hardware Trojans in dynamic circuit is given.
