Title: ITC Midwest 34.5 to 69 kV Rebuild and Conversion Program

Abstract: As part of the purchase of the transmission assets from IPL to ITC Midwest, ITC Midwest committed to rebuilding and converting the 34.5 kV transmission system it would be purchasing from IPL.  ITC Midwest then had to undertake system studies throughout the areas of the system with existing 34.5 kV transmission and come up with plans to facilitate conversion to 69 kV operation which would meet the current planning standards required by ITC Midwest.  This presentation will go over the 34.5 to 69 kV rebuild and conversion project and go into detail on some of the unique study area plan considerations.
