Bio: Philip Stoffregen has represented utilities and large customers in energy law cases that have had profound impacts on the power industry in the Midwest. Stoffregen has been the lead attorney in some of the most important recent energy law cases in Iowa, including the lead attorney negotiating the sale of Alliant Energy’s transmission assets to the International Transmission Company, and the lead attorney in 2014 in the Eagle Point Solar case that was ultimately decided by the Iowa Supreme Court, in favor of Eagle Point SolarHe retired in December 2017 from Brown Winick law firm. Before that he was the General Counsel to the Iowa Utilities Board.
