Project Requirements, Deadlines, Project Topics
I have sent at least one topic to each of you (most cases modified what you sent me), two to some.

Requirements
  1.  Review of approaches (some in detail, some briefly) + 20 min presentation
  2.  Implementation in Matlab (choose 1-2 or 3 approaches to implement)
  3. Discussion of results
  4. Report: contain review of approaches, implementation, discussion of results, running Matlab code (emphasis should be on being able to explain every result you get and why you got it, it may or may not be the best one).

Deadlines:
I am giving 4 deadlines below, if you have research or other deadlines and want to change anything talk to me.

Project 1, Discussion of Approaches: March 21.
(Make a 20 minute presentation explaining the approaches to the class, distribute slides one day before to everyone.)

Project 1, Implementation & Results: Due April 2.
(15 minute presentation + submit report, mostly discussing implementation and explaining results)

Project 2, Discussion of Approaches: Due April 23.
(Make a 20 minute presentation explaining the approaches to the class, distribute slides one day before to everyone.)

Project 2, Implementation & Results:  Due last day of dead week.
(15 minute presentation + submit report, mostly discussing implementation and explaining results)
