Shawn Hanson is a principal test manager in the Microsoft Business Division in Fargo, North Dakota. He is responsible for leading a team of engineers testing the Dynamics AX product. Besides being part of the Dynamics AX Test Leadership team, his primary responsibility includes testing the Dynamics AX Client user interface. Prior to his current role, Hanson managed teams at Microsoft for both the Dynamics AX and Dynamics GP product lines, and he managed a team of consultants assisting partners to integrate with the various product lines within the Dynamics family. Hanson joined Microsoft with the acquisition of Great Plains Software in December 2000. Hanson was a engineer at Rockwell Collins in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, prior to his time with Great Plains Software. He holds bachelor of science degrees in computer science and airway science from the University of North Dakota.
