Program of Study (POS) for Off-Campus Students

  1. Students pursuing a Master of Science via Engineering Distance Education will not have a permanent adviser until formally admitted into the program.  Vicky Thorland-Oster, Manager of ECpE Student Services will act as the temporary adviser for distance education students.  Once formally admitted, Vicky will remain the temporary adviser until students have selected their major professor.   2. Once admitted for a Master of Science degree, students are required to secure a Program of Study committee and file a Program of Study by the end of their second semester. Students are encouraged to discuss their registration plans with their major professor.
