Title: Building brain networks via fMRI signal processing

Speaker: Anubha Gupta, Associate Professor, IIIT-Delhi

Abstract: Functional MRI is a non-invasive method to analyze human brain activity. Recently, there has been a great interest in understanding brain activity by building functional brain networks via fMRI signal processing. In this talk, we will briefly review open research problems in the area of fMRI signal processing. Next, we will review the advances in building functional brain networks from signal processing point of view and the challenges encountered. We will discuss hemodynamic response modeling based approach to detect brain activation and building robust brain networks.
