NETSCORE Quarterly Report to Project Advisors: Thursday, April 9, 2009, 3:30-4:30 p.m. central time (4:30-5:30 p.m. EST)

About the meeting:

In this meeting,  you will hear from the six project investigators about the recent progress has been accomplished towards developing 40-year investment plans for the U.S. energy and transportation infrastructures.

Participating Remotely:

There are two ways to participate remotely. You can download the slides (available by noon April 9) and dial into a phone bridge or you can join via Adobe Connect Pro Meeting.

To Dial In:

  • To dial in you'll need to change the slides yourself on your computer. To dial in: Call 1-866-249-8583 or 1-719-234-7458. You will be asked for a Participant Passcode, which is 369647 (no need to press anything after entering the passcode digits)

To Use Adove Connect Pro Meeting (via Internet)

  • In using Adobe Connect, you will be able to view the slides as the presenter changes them, and you will have a visual with the speaker and have access to a chat facility to ask questions and make comments during the presentation. To access via Adobe Connect, go to http://connect.extension.iastate.edu/netscore21. (If you don't already have Flash and Adobe Connect plug-ins installed on your computer, it will prompt you to install them when you go to the URL above. These installations will be shown in the upper right-hand corner of the Adobe Connect Screen once they are installed.) Choose Enter as a Guest. Type in your name and select Enter Room.

About the meeting:

The presentation at meeting will last 1 hour. NETSCORE presenters will answer questions for 1 hour following the presentation. Participants are encouraged to send comments and questions via the Adobe chat facility or by e-mail to jdm@iastate.edu during the presentations.
