ECpE Research Lab Named One of Top 10 "Really Cool" Labs in the Nation

Ames, Iowa – Iowa State University’s Internet-Scale Event and Attack Generation Environment (ISEAGE) has been named one of 10 “really cool” university networking labs in the United States by NetworkWorld.com.

ISEAGE was developed by University Professor Doug Jacobson in 2004. It is a virtual Internet used for researching, designing, and testing cyber defense mechanisms.

Other labs highlighted in the article were from universities including Carnegie Mellon, Stanford University, and the University of California, Berkeley.
