New Technology Improves Data Transmission Over Optical Fibers

 

Ames, Iowa -- Rana Biswas, an Iowa State University adjunct associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Gary Tuttle, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, are part of an Ames Laboratory research team that has developed an innovative filter to sort and distribute massive amounts of data over optical fibers.
