Law School Preparation, Summer 2008

Florida State University College of Law will offer the "Summer for Undergraduates Program" from May 19-June 13, 2008. Sixty undergraduate students will be chosen to participate in this program. Daily classes will be taught by law school professors and writing instructors. In addition to classes, guest lecturers from the legal community, observations of courtroom proceedings, and visits to local law firms will be provided by this program. Writing workshops will help students develop their writing and communication skills. Room and board, course materials, and a $500 stipend will be provided for the participants. Students will be responsible for their travel to and from Tallahassee. Preference will be given to historically underrepresented groups. Interested students should apply soon as application materials have been received since October 1, 2007. Final application materials are due by March 28, 2008.
