The Information Infrastructure Institute (iCUBE) strives to be a leader in information technology. The institute aims to build on our research strengths and make a concerted effort to develop multidisciplinary research projects with IT as the core technology. iCUBE will bring researchers from various disciplines together to stimulate the development and application of new technologies for large-scale national and international techno-and socio-economic impact. Additionally, iCUBE will serve the business community whose IT needs are constantly changing and evolving.

The institute aims to promote research on:

• Developing a deeper understanding of IT and its various applications throughout multiple disciplines
• Enabling IT technologies such as real-time dependable high-performance computing, new processor and memory designs, high-speed and dependable computer networks, software engineering, complex software systems, database systems, distributed computing, security, and decision support systems
