Although the university began offering an electrical engineering degree to students in 1892, the Department of Electrical Engineering was not formed until 1909. The degrees on this timeline show electrical engineering degrees awarded by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering since its formation.
Edd R. McKee is awarded the department’s first Master of Science degree in electrical engineering
