Stipend Schedule

The stipend schedule for a one-half time research or teaching Assistant is as follows:

  • Entering Master's and PhD student: $1,450 per month
  • PhD students (post qualifier): $1,500 per month
  • PhD students (post prelim): $1,550 per month

Pay increases will be given at the beginning of the term following the successful completion of the Qualifying Process or the Preliminary Examination.

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department has a limited number of fellowships for exceptional applicants. No additional forms, other than your application for admission, are required. Students are encouraged to apply by the application deadlines to be considered for this fellowship.
