There is a group of classes, called the "core classes" or the "core curriculum", that represent the foundation classes within the ECpE degrees. These core curriculums contain core engineering courses you must take in order to graduate with a degree in CprE or EE at ISU.
You are required to have at least a 2.0 GPA within your core curriculum overall in order to graduate with an engineering degree from ISU. This does not mean you need at least a "C" in every class.
It does mean that if, for example, you have one three-credit "D" within the core classes, then you must have at least one three-credit "B" within the core classes in order to balance out the overall core curriculum GPA.
